They are many!

He ransoms me and keeps me safe from the battle waged against me, though many still oppose me. Ps 55:18

Once a demon possessed man was brought to Jesus. The man told Jesus, 'we are many'. But the man was delivered (Mk 5:1-20). Don't we often think our enemy is more powerful?

Goliath seemed to be powerful before David (1 Sam 17). Gideon managed to arrange 32,000 to fight against a very large army of Amalekites; but God decided to reduce them to three hundred (Judg 6-7). In all such examples in the Bible, whoever chose God to be on their side, won the battle.

If God is with us, we are strong even when we are weak (2 Cor 12:10). God chooses the powerless to shame the powerful (1 Cor 1:27).

One with God is always powerful; not many without God!

Prayer: Oh God, help me to always join you while fighting the enemy. Amen
