Encourage one another

B. A. Manakala

They encourage each other to do evil and plan how to set their traps in secret. “Who will ever notice?” they ask (Ps 64:5 nlt).

"Apply for easy car loans in one minute! No down payment. Less paperwork! Instant approval!", sounds very simple. The advertisement is very encouraging.

The wicked also encourage one another; but they encourage each other to do evil (Ps 64:5). Some of us may be good at encouraging others. But we need to evaluate what happened as a result. Our encouragement is right only if the results are glorifying God ultimately. If we encourage others to sin we will face the consequence (Mtt 18:6). We are to always build others up for good (Eph 4:29).

What are you encouraging others for?

Always encourage others; but be cautious about the purpose!

Prayer: Lord, help me to always encourage others with good intentions. Amen
