Offer the best

B. A. Manakala

That is why I am sacrificing burnt offerings to you— the best of my rams as a pleasing aroma, and a sacrifice of bulls and male goats. (Ps 66:15 nlt)

Once a man attended a prayer meeting. When the time came for the collection of offertory he was so sad that he had no money to offer. Finally, he removed his wrist watch and placed it in the offering box.

God will never force us to even offer anything at all, forget about the best offering. We should also note that no one can offer anything to God directly, but they are channeled through people. Therefore, be willing to both give and receive offerings, with the right attitude. Do not just receive everything that is given to you; do not just give only the things that you do not need anymore. It may be helpful to think about the gifts God gave us before we offer something to Him or others.

How do you define the quality and quantity of your offering and gifts?

When we buy gifts, always choose a better quality than what we would buy for ourselves!

Prayer: Lord, help me to offer to you and others with the right attitude. Amen
