Shout praise!

B. A. Manakala

Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth! (Ps 66:1 nlt)

Our one-year-old daughter doesn't speak yet; but somehow she expresses when she is hungry, sleepy, angry, joyful etc. Sometimes, she cries too loud in the night that the next morning neighbours check with us about it.

Does God really want us to raise our voice in praise? God wants us to express our praises to Him whatever way possible. It may be shout, silence, cry, smile, singing, words etc. God expects that our whole life, in word and deed, proclaim Him and His praise. Our neighbours and people around must be able to see us as genuine worshippers as individuals, as families and as churches.

How loud (not just the volume) do you worship God?

Be as 'loud' as you can, both in word and deed, in praising God!

Prayer: Lord, help me to shout louder praises to you all the days of my life. Amen
