Delight in war?
Rebuke these enemy nations— these wild animals lurking in the reeds, this herd of bulls among the weaker calves. Make them bring bars of silver in humble tribute. Scatter the nations that delight in war. (Ps 68:30 nlt)
Many years ago I had a friend who was usually very calm in the class. But he appears if there is a fight among friends. A couple of questions from him in soft volume would calm down the whole situation in a few seconds. He would enquire about the cause of the problem and suggest a way to solve it. Often his intervention solved many problems!
Those who delight in war may soon be scattered (Ps. 68:30). Fights and wars are normal on earth because of the sinful nature in man. But those of us who have got the peach through Jesus Christ must become the peacemakers on earth. Jesus was the Peacemaker who came from heaven to earth. Each of us is enabled by his Spirit to be a peacemaker on earth. Some are trouble-makers, some like watching the fight, some try to escape from the scene, and very few are peacemakers.

If avoiding trouble was the best thing God would have let us destroy rather than sending Jesus to earth!
Prayer: Lord, help me to love peace and be a peacemaker on earth. Amen
