Who Defends You?
B. A. Manakala
God Himself is in Jerusalem’s towers, revealing Himself as its defender. Ps 48:3
My six year old son often
wants me to defend and protect him than his sister or his mother. You can
imagine the reason. Who do you usually desire to defend you?
When David was delivered
from his enemies, "He sang: “The Lord is my rock,
my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.
He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence." (2
Sam. 22:2)
If God Himself is on our
side who or what in the world can be against us? (Rom 8:31).
We have the most powerful Defender!
Prayer:
Lord, help me to always have You on my defense. Amen
