God reigns

B. A. Manakala Destroy them in your anger! Wipe them out completely! Then the whole world will know that God reigns in Israel. Ps 59:13 (nlt) Suppose, I make this statement: 'I don't accept him as the prime minister'. Would that mean he is no more the prime minister? As David prays here God may not always have to appear in anger and destroy people to let the world know He reigns above all (Ps. 59:13). He is King (Ps 97:1) no matter what! Only once in a while we may realise that God reigns: when there is a flood (Gen 6); when the sea is divided (Ex. 14:21); when there is a miracle, when there is a pandemic, when our dear ones die etc. How would you remind yourselves continuously that God reigns above everything at all times? God reigns above all eternally, whether it seems or doesn't seem like! Prayer: Lord, open my eyes and heart to see and understand that you always reign. Amen
